All instruction and play will be at Purdue's
Birck
Boilermaker Golf Complex, a
36-hole layout that includes the Pete Dye - designed Kampen Course and the
Ackerman Hills Course, which hosted the NCAA Championship won by Jack Nicklaus.
Purdue's complex also includes an incredible practice facility. In October
of 2005, the new $2.7 million indoor
training center opened giving Purdue one of the finest golf facilities in
the nation. The Kampen Course has hosted the 2003 Woman's NCAA Championship,
the 2002 Western Boys Junior Championship, the 2005 "Big 10 " Tournament,
and has been selected as the site of the 2008 NCAA Men's Championship.
Students are housed in one of
Purdue's
air-conditioned residence halls on the Purdue campus within walking
distance of the golf course. Students do not need to bring sheets but do
need to bring towels and toiletries. We feel this facility is outstanding
and supervision is provided
24 hours a day.
Students traveling by
air will need to fly into Indianapolis Airport, which is one hour from
Purdue's campus. Arrive the morning of the first day and schedule last
day flight departures for after 4 p.m. Camp registration begins
at 11 a.m. and orientation starts promptly at 1 p.m the first day of
camp.
